Soon-Yi is also a victim of sexual abuse. In a 2013 Vanity Fair article it appears that Mia Farrow distributed sexual photos of Soon-Yi as retaliation of her affair with Woody. In Mia’s own words, these photos were pornographic and yet she shared them with her children and with the press. It’s clear these photos were distributed with intend to humiliate Soon-Yi and they were distributed without Soon-Yi consent: that’s called revenge porn. It’s sexual abuse and many experts consider revenge porn sexual assault.

Also, keep in mind that Soon-Yi was surrounded by Mia’s older biological sons for her entire childhood: Fletcher, Sasha and Matthew. They would have gone through puberty around the same time she was it’s possible they sexualized her growing up, especially if they saw their mother didn’t respect her as a girl and a young woman.
When Mia distributed Soon-Yi’s photos to these sons, none of them stood up for Soon-Yi and even appear complicit in their mother’s crime. One of the sons, Matthiew, even gave photos to his girlfriend, Priscilla Gilman, who commented about the photos in the press, and made fun of Soon-YI, painting her as a dumb girl and a feral animal who would spit and scratch at people.
